Droppy provides the option to add fullscreen background ads to the upload page. But Droppy also provides two different ad spaces for other ads such as Google Adsense ads. These spaces are located over here:
The ads can be setup through the admin panel at Settings -> Advertising.
Use adsense with Droppy
Step 1: Create an AdSense Account
- Go to the AdSense website (https://www.google.com/adsense/) and click on the "Sign Up Now" button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create a new AdSense account.
Step 2: Get AdSense Ad Codes
- After your AdSense account is approved, log in to your AdSense account.
- Click on the "Ads" tab in the left sidebar.
- Click on the “By ad unit" tab to create a new ad unit.
- Select the ad type "Display ads" and choose an appropriate ad size from the available options. For the horizontal ad block, select the Horizontal option and for the vertical sidebar adblock select the vertical option
- Give it a name and select the option Responsive.
- Click on the "Create" button.
- Copy the generated AdSense ad code for each ad unit.
Step 3: Access the Admin Panel
- Log in to your application's admin panel using your credentials.
- Navigate to the "Settings" section of the admin panel.
- Look for the "Advertising" option in the settings menu and click on it.
Step 4: Add AdSense Codes to Ad Blocks
- In the "Advertisement" page, you will find two input text boxes for adding the AdSense codes for the horizontal and vertical ad blocks.
- Paste the AdSense code for the horizontal ad block into the first input field box. Ensure that the code is intact and has not been modified.
- Paste the AdSense code for the vertical ad block into the second input text box. Again, verify that the code is complete and unchanged.
- Save the changes or click on an "Update" button to apply the new ad codes.
