By default, the admin panel of Droppy is accessible at https://yourdomain.com/admin. However, starting from version 2.5.6, a new feature allows users to define a custom route path for added flexibility. If you wish to modify this path, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Locate the Configuration File
Navigate to your Droppy project's root directory and find the
application/config/routes.php file. This file contains the routing configuration for your Droppy application.
2. Open the
routes.php file using a text editor of your choice. Locate the line where the custom admin route is defined:
$custom_admin_route = 'admin'; // Change this value to your new admin route
3. Choose a New Admin Route
Change the value
'admin' to your preferred admin route. For example, if you want the new route to be 'manage', update the line as follows:
$custom_admin_route = 'manage';
4. Save the Changes
routes.php file after making the necessary changes.
5. Verify the Changes
Visit your Droppy application in a web browser and test the new admin route. If you set the route to 'manage', the admin section should now be accessible at https://yourdomain.com/manage.
Note! Do Not Modify Other Lines
Please note that it's crucial not to modify any other lines in the
routes.php file. The provided lines are specifically configured for Droppy to function correctly. Modifying them may lead to unexpected behavior.
Note that any future Droppy updates may overwrite this change so make sure to also save your customized routes.php file somewhere else so you can place it back after an update.
